Alien Intruders Online Arcade Game

This is an updated version of the classic Space Invaders game and plays in much the same way. Simply use your arrow keys to move your own spacecraft from left to right and press the spacebar to fire missiles at the intruders. Destroy them all before they reach the bottom of the screen.

The game is very much like the original 80s arcade game but with improved graphics, sound effects and additional music - something that would have been impossible to add to the original, monochrome 1978 game which was released by Taito and Midway.

One thing this game doesn't have, though, is the defense bunkers and I'm not sure why these were left out. However, a feature that is a welcome addition is that when you hit the saucer and then catch the falling weapon icon that it releases, you can have a real blast!
