Every Doctor Who Annual from the 80s, 70s and 60s

So did you own any of these annuals? If so, you may be wondering how much they could be worth these days. Or maybe you threw them out and just want to indulge in some nostalgia to remind yourself what the covers looked like. Perhaps you're a collector looking for a full list of titles? Whatever your reason for being here, we hope you enjoy browsing through every annual from 1964 through to 1986.

Of course, with each year that passes, these books are becoming increasingly rare and the prices on sites such as eBay reflect this. The longer you hold on to them the more valuable they will become, provided you keep them in a decent condition.

The 1980s annuals were published a month earlier than the 70s annuals and came out each August. For instance, the 1986 annual was published in August 1985. No official BBC annuals were published for the years 1986 to 2005. There was also no annual in 1972. However there are some yearbooks that were issued from 1992 to 1996 which were published by Marvel Comics.

There were also four Terry Nation's Dalek Annuals released in collaboration with the BBC for the years 1976 to 1979 by World Distrubutor's (Manchester) Ltd. Three Dalek Books were released for 1964 to 1966 by Souvenir Press Ltd. The early dalek books are now selling for around £60 to £100 on ebay.

The prices on ebay vary greatly for 70s and 80s Dr Who annuals, but around £8 to £12 seems to be the average asking price, so you're not going to make a fortune from them, I'm afraid. However, the annuals from the 1960s appear to be fetching a much higher price, and if you have any in pristine condition then you could make a tidy sum - there should be plenty of collector's who would bite your hand off for such a rare gem.
