This power ballad is one of those songs you either love or hate, but my favourite part is the "ay,ay,ay,ay..." section, as you can sing it out loud without the need to remember the words!
The song was taken from the album Double Crossed, spent one week at No.1 in the UK during November 1984, but was knocked off the top spot by Frankie Goes to Hollywood with The Power of Love, which also spent just one week at No.1.
The video clip features a performance on Top Of The Pops, and you also get to see a Top Ten rundown with Radio One DJ presenters Peter Powell (who's wearing a "Feed The World" T-Shirt) and Janice Long.
Jim Diamond passed away on 10th October 2015. His only other major solo chart hit was "Hi Ho Silver", which reached No.5 during March 1986.
