You don't need me to tell you that this is based on the classic game by Namco that became a huge success in the 1980s. However, this game is also based on the highly successful platformer genre that gave us classics such as Donkey Kong, Mario Bros, Manic Miner, Miner 2049er etc, etc. So, instead of making your way through a series of mazes, you are now confronted with a scrolling screen containing lots of platforms.

Of course, there is much more to the game than just jumping onto platforms, and a helpful training mode is included to guide you through. As well as the obligatory pills (also called pac-dots), there are lots of bonus items to munch on, too. Some platforms will allow you to bounce higher into the air when you jump on them.  The ghosts are still a very relevant feature of the game and still need to be avoided unless you've recently consumed a power pill. This is a well thought out game and should provide you with many hours of fun.
